MCP endpoint/api/mcp

All tools on both endpoints are read-only, non-destructive, and idempotent. The parameter tables below are generated at build time from lib/starlight-mcp-catalog.ts, so they cannot drift from the schemas the servers enforce.

Get the complete public manifest and distribution state for a Starlight Department OS release candidate. Research previews are not returned as packages.

  • Transport: Streamable HTTP (POST with content-type: application/json).
  • 2026-07-28 stateless handshake: Clients may send MCP-Protocol-Version: 2026-07-28 and Mcp-Method headers directly, or use the standard initialize → tools/list → tools/call JSON-RPC 2.0 sequence.
